What is Cosmelan?
Cosmelan is a professional depigmentation peel system made up of a two-phase process:
Phase 1: The In-Clinic Peel
The first step of the Cosmelan treatment is performed in-clinic by Dr Laniewski’s team. Your skin will be cleansed and prepared before the Cosmelan 1 peel is applied to your face in a thick layer. This peel works to remove layers of dead skin cells, over time revealing fresh, clear skin.
Depending on your skin type, this peel must be left on for eight to twelve hours. Before leaving the clinic, you will be given instructions on how to remove the peel and provided with an aftercare regimen.
Phase 2: At Home Aftercare
After the specified time, the Cosmelan mask should be removed with a gentle cleanser. Within two to three days, your skin will begin to peel, at which time you should begin applying the Cosmelan 2 cream twice daily. This cream is designed to inhibit the production of melanin, which is the pigment responsible for creating the colour of your skin.

Cosmelan results
