PROCEDURE

On the day of your MyEllevate procedure, Dr Laniewski will apply a numbing cream to the treatment area in order to minimise discomfort. After the anaesthetic has taken effect, he will insert a specialised device through specific access points, guided by LED light. Sutures are strategically placed beneath the skin, which work to tighten and pull the underlying neck structures together and add support to sagging areas. Depending on the patient, the procedure can be performed on its own or in conjunction with other procedures. Some patients may require liposuction to remove stubborn fat deposits and achieve a more defined outcome. RESULTS & AFTERCARE FOR MYELLEVATE

After the procedure, you can resume your normal activities almost straight away. Recovery generally takes around 10 days, during which you may need to wear a chin strap and foam collar for support. You should keep your treatment area clean and dry during recovery to allow the body to begin the healing process. Additionally, we recommend patients avoid heavy lifting and excessive exercise for a few weeks so as to not strain the sutures and neck muscles, and to prevent excess swelling. Dr Laniewski may provide additional aftercare instructions to help you achieve your desired result.

Sutures instigate the skin healing process, stimulating the body’s ability to produce collagen. MyEllevate is designed to either be a stand-alone procedure or used in conjunction with other procedures such as a rhytidectomy (facelift.)

How long do the results of MyEllevate last?
